Kites are a perfect teaching tool, offering lessons in art, science, mathematics, history, recreation, culture, geography and, well -- fun! "Kites as an Educational Tool" was designed to support National Kite Month - a joint program of the American Kitefliers Association and the Kite Trade Association International. When Kite Month premiers in April, 2000, we anticipate offering a broad selection of educational materials and lesson plans. However, for April 1999, we have quickly compiled a few samples.
