The tiny kites of |
|
Guy Gosselin says his inspiration is the universe, woman and beauty. We like that! Guy (rhymes with sea) and Claudette make wonderfully delicate miniature kites. Guy does the conception and cutting, Claudette the sewing. They call each one a "dream in a box". The kites perform exceptionally well. You can order the standard, with wooden frames, or the silk and carbon indoor models for the same price. Each kite is made to order and shipped from France in a specially designed box that is great for display or storage. |

All kites are available in your choice of one solid color, and are framed in birch dowel or 3mm carbon for indoor flying. The indoor version won 1st place at the International Indoor Festival of Amsterdam in 1995. |

The Snowflake: The multi-facet Snowflake was invented by Englishman Stephen Robinson. This model has a hexagonal exterior frame supporting 36 vents. The finished size is 18 x 20 x 20 centimeters. That's roughly 7 by 8 by 8 inches. Each piece contains two spinnaker colors -- examples include black and red, black and white, red and white... Like all Goselin kites, the Snowflake is a fine flier and can be adjusted for varying wind conditions. Your cost is $84 plus $15 shipping. |

The "Dondai": This is a dramatic but simple design. The elongated wings give the kite an "codyesque" appearance, but with a much more modern flair. The Dondai was conceived and developed by Claudette and Guy's son Tom in 1994. The overall size is 21 x 32 x 10 centimeters -- about 8 by 12 inches. Each kite is constructed from one or two colors of spinnaker and includes a matching tail. The carbon model is preferred to the dowel sparring for ultimate performance. Like all Goselin kites, the Dondai is a fine flier and can be adjusted for varying wind conditions. Your cost is $45 plus $15 shipping. |

Display Boxes: Each Goselin kite comes packaged in a delightful corrugated box which itself is a work of art. They are prefect for display, storage or for gift giving. |
