G-Kites - Dual Line Stunt and Sport Kites |
|
Maneuverable kites take you from “static” to “active “ flying. You become the pilot! With two lines, you can steer your kite around the sky, or even create your own aerial ballet to music. G-Kites now offers several styles and designs of Sport and Stunt Kites for different flying conditions and results. Power your way through big turns with long tails streaming behind, fashion sharp turns and maneuvers, or punch out the latest slack-line tricks. |

| Gary MacEachern of Brookings, Oregon, wanted a perfect kite for his multiple kite routines and long, long tails. He chose the best materials and designed a big-wing for a wide wind-range and smooth flight. Then he asked GKPI to make it for him. |

Advanced kites generally come without flying line. That’s because many kiters already have line and don't want to pay for a new set with each kite they buy. If you need line, check out the options listed at the bottom of this page. |
|
Charisma (Moderate 6.5 foot wingspan)
Charisma is a light-pulling freestyle sport kite that provides easy, responsive flight and advanced trick capability in a wide wind range. It was designed for superior speed control, easy, forgiving handling, stable and predictable performance for freestyle tricks, and smooth transitions for seamless free flowing flying.
Chrisma is available in three color choices and retails for $79.00. We can add a set of 100 pound dynema flying lines and straps for $20.00. |

Flying a Diamond Wing Stunt Kite will give you a completely different experience than the high performance “sport” kites. The Diamonds have a larger sail area, more pull, and come with long sweeping tails. Some say the slower Diamonds are easier to fly; others say they are just another kind of fun. Stack several together and get a real workout flying your “kite train”. |

Chevron Stunt Kite: The Chevron is the second stunter in our series of maneuverable kites. You pilot it through the air with two flying lines. We’ve made it tough, forgiving, and easy to handle. Each Chevron is 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. A matching 45 foot tail is included. The main difference between the Chevron and the Starburst is that the Chevron is made with a slightly lighter frame. This allows better performance in lighter winds. Fly a single Chevron in 4-15 mph on 100 pound line. Stacks of up to six can use 200 pound line. Available in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple with black and white accents. Each Chevron is $40. We’ve included detachable train lines and a quick “pigtail” connection system. |
|
Flying Line: Stunt and Sport kites don’t come with line. The reason is that many kiters already have kites and don’t want to pay for new line sets with each new kite. But if this is your first kite, or if you are ready for new lines, we have just the thing!
Lines for maneuverable kites are different from other kite lines. You want something that is very thin - to reduce drag. You want a line that is slippery – so when you complete loops and twist the line, you can still control the kite. You want line that has minimal stretch – so when you pull on one, the kite gets the signal. And you want a line that is durable – so you don’t need to buy more again soon. |
