Falcon Delta - Exceptional flight in a wide wind range. Our best delta! The Falcon is a big delta - over ten feet wide - that flies at an exceptionally high angle and an unusual range of winds. 7 Foot Zenith Delta: These great kites were originally designed in South Africa. They are ideal for recreational flying, and also practical flying tools for lifting cameras or training raptors. The "Zenith" will fly well in light or strong winds, develops uncommon lift for a delta, and in breezes over 5 mph will lock-in almost directly overhead. It is a larger Delta, 7 feet wide and 5 tall with an almost symmetrical lower-aspect-ratio shape. Design features include an abbreviated "pocket" keel and adjustable bridle line. The keel will slightly inflate to keep the kite from over-flying. We built the Zenith tough with a carbon frame, molded fitting, and a lightweight ripstop nylon sail. $90 each. Ghost and Pyro Deltas have long shimmering tails built into the base of the kite. We use a lighter fabric that floats on the breeze and minimizes twisting or tangling. Originally, these kites were made for nighttime firework or pyrotechnic shows. That's why we call them "Pyros". They combine a great sky presence with the simplicity of Delta flying.

Ghost Delta: Dominate the sky with these big deltas and their long flowing tails. The secret is the lightweight ripstop sail that lets Ghosts float on the lightest breezes. Transition Tails: These colorful flat tails have long been a favorite kiting accessory. You can hang them on your line or attach them to the kite. For more fun, hook them on a long pole and whirl them around. We call them Transition Tails because the color emphasis changes across the length of the tail. It makes a "transition". Get it?? Each contains 60 pieces of durable ripstop nylon stitched together. There is a swivel on one end and a loop on the other so you can easily attach them to your kite or connect several together. Single Streamer Flag: It is one long shimmering piece of fabric -- perfect to attach to a kite, line, flagpole or even the mast of your yacht. Click on the photo for a different view. Streamer Flags are simple, dramatic, and efficient. They are completely hemmed, abuse-tolerant, and available in any of the six primary colors plus black and white. Each flag is equipped with two reinforced tabs at the top for easy attachment. We have four sizes: 1 ft x 15 ft -- $14 / 1 ft x 35 ft -- $20 / 2 ft x 75 ft -- $40 / 2 ft x 150 ft -- $90. Helix Spinner: Here's some whirling fun for your kite or line. The rigid paddles rotate in the wind and turn two 20 foot tubes into a flowing corkscrew around the third tube. Sand Anchors: You arrive on the beach ready to fly, look around, and there isn't anything in sight to tie off to. What to do?? Simple -- just pull a sand anchor out of your bag. This ingenious designs is made from a sheet of tough fabric with straps attached. Dog a hole in the sand, lay the fabric in the hole, fill the sand back in, and then connect your kite to the straps. Plastic Line Spools: Grab a handy 6 inch line winder in bright plastic colors. Our colorful spools are hard to break, hard to lose, and hard to resist. The narrow construction makes them easier to hold and to store. Choose 200 feet of 85 pound line on a blue winder -- great for Deltas of up to 7 feet for $8. Top Quality Line and Winders: You can use all kinds of things to wind up your flying line. We use these handsome Hardwood Handles, individually crafted here in Oregon. There are two sizes - the standard 12 inch for $9 and the large 18 inch for $12. Lighter Flying Line: We use a black dacron for serious flying. The lightly waxed finish is easier to handle and the hollow braid can easily be spliced back together in the case of a cut or break. We prefer the dark color because it repels dirt, is easier to see in the sky, and because, well, because we like it...
