Blue Whale: Lifelike colors, form, and size. That's right -- this amazing whale kite is the actual size of the world's largest animal! Koi/Guppy This PL Fish designs flies well and with 1/3 less bulk than other large kites. It weighs in at about 40 pounds and packs up tight. And it also costs less! Flying Fish: The Flying Fish is a true inflatable in the standard giant size configuration. Click here to see some color variations Body length is about 40 feet with extended fin tubes adding another 30 feet to the overall impression. Each piece comes complete with a fish drogue for flight stability. (I remove mine and just fly with a goodd Piulot.) And with the largest intake opening of any PL inflatable, it fills and deflates very quickly and in relatively light winds. One interesting aspect of the Fish is you get a choice of mouth designs. Many of the larger kites come complete with a tuning system for different winds. The main bridle line contains a series of knots. The bridle connected to the leading edge of the kite is looped around one of the knots with a larkshead. For lighter winds, adjust the larkshead to a "forward" knot, pulling the edge of the kite forward. For medium winds, use middle knots. For stronger winds, use knots at the back of the system to reduce lift. Adjusting for different winds will improve performance and flight stability. If your kite contains two sets of bridle groups, make sure both are adjusted the same.

Manta Ray: We now offer a variety of options in the Manta series. Choose the traditional patchwork design with bubble eyes and a bucket tail. This is one of the first giant soft kites, recently re-designed and one of Peter's best performers. New variations include the smooth tail Manta. This model has a solid top and bottom sail, and headlight eyes. Go one step further and add a tattoo decoration. A third option is the Andreas Fischbacher Ray, different in form and style from Peter's designs, but of course, similar in size and performance. Feeling creative? Combine elements from all three! Flag, Pillow, or Billboard Foil: We're still debating what to call this innovative Peter Lynn design. They are referred to as Pillows, Flags, or Billboards. And any of those names will work. The kite is shaped like a big, soft pillow. It works well dimensionally as a flag. And with no keels and a large, un-interrupted canvass, it is perfect for graphics, advertising, or commercial "billboard" images. This remarkable kite design inflates quickly and holds its shape well. The Flag has no keels and is supported internally by through-cords rather than cells. And for a kite of this size, it flies remarkably well. But be warneed, they pull HARD!
