Gomberg SkyFoil

The SkyFoil is supported by two sets of keels. This means you can tune for wind and performance using the two sets of bridle lines, but that adjustments are much easier than on the three keel foils. All of the cells are cross vented and the openings in the face of the kite make this one of the easiest foils to inflate and launch.

Our SkyFoil is now available in five dramatic designs and two user-friendly sizes. Choose the 21 square foot "Mini" Skyfoil (6 x 3.5 feet) or the dramatic 85 square foot SkyFoil "Lifter" (11.5 x 7 feet).

SkyFoils always perform (and look) better with drogues or tube tails. Recommended for light - heavy winds. Use 200-300 pound flying line on Minis and 500-700 pound line on Lifters.

The "Standard" SkyFoil is constructed from up to three colors - typically used on the front, the cell dividers, and the back panel. The cost is $350 for the Lifter and $99 for the Mini.

The "Striped" SkyFoil uses each of the eight cells as a design option. The rainbow pattern is most popular, but other variations can be made as well. The cost is $375 for the Lifter and $99 for the Mini.

The "Wedge" SkyFoil inserts a large triangle at the top of the sail and uses each of the eight cells as a design option. We can decorate the wedge with a rainbow pattern or any other variations. The cost is $390 for the Lifter and $120 for the Mini.

The "Herringbone" SkyFoil inserts a dramatic zig-zag across the top of the sail. Black and white stripes work well against a primary background color but a number of variations work well. The cost is $390 for the Lifter and $120 for the Mini.

The "Diagonal Wedge" SkyFoil uses contrasting stripes inside the wedge to create a powerful impact. Choose any colors you like and we'll get a you SkyFoil that will dominate the skyline. Black and white stripes work well against a primary background color but a number of variations work well. The cost is $400 for the Lifter and $130 for the Mini.
