Rok Show Close to Home

Lincoln City is hosting their annual Indoor Kite Festival next weekend.

As part of the celebration, I was asked to provide some kites for the Cultural Center. Last Fall, we set up a series of our large, traditional Japanese kites. So this year, we brought out our collection of artist Roks from around the world.

The Indoor show starts on Friday with talent imported from around the Northwest and across North America.

In addition to the standard demonstrations and competition, Lincoln City offers a unique choreographed showcase organized each year by Deb and Lee Parks.

It is a Kite Cirque worthy of a larger stage. But we're glad to have it here and look forward to seeing lots of old friends perform.

Speaking of very cool roks, our Kabuki Series of stunning four-footers are getting rave reviews. Add one to your own bag before Spring supplies start to thin out.

List price is $70. Order in the next week and get 10% off. Just remember to say "I saw it on the Update!"
