One customer said instead of instead of Small, Medium, and Large we really should rename them Large, Humongeous, and Unbelievable... Most inflatables fly better with a lifter. That means you use another kite to provide a boost. For smaller and mid-size inflatables, don't tie the lifter line directly to the primary kite. Wind gusts or larger lifters may cause damage. Instead, anchor the lifter on one line, and the inflatable on a second line from the same anchor point. Then attach the inflatable to the line of the lifter using the "lifter loop" with a snap or other slider and let it float up the lifter-line. Spirit Flier Here is an amazing kite for general flying or special events like memorial flies or night shows. Made by Martin Lester of England, the Spirit dances in the breeze with long, 20 foot extremities trailing behind. He (or she) definitely makes an impression. Priced at $350. each Spirit is imported from England. They are a bit hard to get. But we have several in stock. |
| Just in from Hank Manseau: Spirit is probably the best-flying inflatable I have ever had the pleasure of flying. I typically fly it on 80# line and it is an incredibly graceful and efficient kite with a very good lift to drag ratio. I suspect the Brits refer to this type of image as a spirit whereas we Americans call it a ghost. I find that it flies extremely well from 7-8 mph to 20 mph. Beyond that range it becomes unstable. The bottom line is... this is a GREAT kite! |
They are remarkably stable in five to twenty m.p.h. of wind and remain manageable and easy to fly. The Octopus measures 20 feet in length and always generate smiles. Choose your color for just $400. We also over a 12 foot mini or "Fun Size" Octo for just $70. Click here for more details. Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn |

10 Foot Kitty Cat: Technically, our Peter Lynn Kitty isn't a kite. She needs a lifter to fly well. But that doesn't mean that this ten foot inflatable won't be great fun to have around.
The standard design is black and white and costs $400. We can also offer custom pieces but only if we stay with the basic pattern and substitute in different colors. We don't recommend the pink or neon-green. After all, who could imagine a ten-foot tall pink cat...

6 Foot Penguin: He is cool! I mean *really* cool!
Our flying Penguin floats in the air with his big yellow feet waddling below. It is a solid flying design but refinements in the construction process allow us to offer this big bird at prices lower than comparably sized inflatables. Some people think he looks like a Duck. Fine! If you want a "Yellow Pengiun" with an orange bill, let us know! You can either for just $70. Click here to check out our exclusive Duck kite. |

Put him (or her) up in seven to twenty miles of wind and watch him float. Each bear comes complete complete with a "honey pot" drogue and sells for $300. Available in all primary colors or in our exclusive Panda Bear design.

PL Flag Kites:This amazing Petr Lynn "pillow-foil" design revolutionizes the whole ram-air idea since it has no cells, no keels, and minimal bridles. Bottom line -- They fly great! A complete USA flag is appliquéd on both sides in lightweight ripstop. The size is 5 by 10 feet and a 6 foot spinning drogue is included - all for $300. It is a unique kite and a great addition to flying science. |

UFO Flying Saucer: A high-flying, Sci-Fi delight! UFOs are configured to fly on a split bridle. They have a lifter loop on top of the dome, and a supporting line attached to the air-intake vent. But we found that in steady wind, they flew just fine off the two anchors with no Pilot at all! We make a five foot and a ten foot model, and plan a twenty-footer next. The smaller Saucer is just $50 with the larger one at $150. Choose your favorite "space" colors for major impact. |

Face Foils! The first time we saw these kites, they absolutely knocked us over. They were arguably the best looking kites on the field, and without question, the most charismatic. It takes a special kind of ego to be an adult kite flier. So the obvious question is, “How do I get a kite like that with my own picture??”. And now we have the answer. “Face Foils” are designed and produced by Pedro and Estaban González of Valencia Spain. “The Brothers” will digitally print your image on white ripstop, frame the image in black, and create a three-dimensional flying portrait. Each kite is roughly five feet tall, fully bridled and ready to fly. You also get a cool, customized carrying sack. Surprise your spouse on their birthday! Advertise your availability. Or launch a family train – including the dog! Face Foils will definitely get attention. Each kite costs $250. All we need are a couple of good face photos and we're good to go! |
