Peter Lynn calls these kites "small". But how can a kite twenty feet long and ten foot wide be small?? One customer said instead of instead of Small, Medium, and Large we really should rename them Large, Humongeous, and Unbelievable...

If you want to see the Unbelievable ones, go to Peter Lynn Show Kites.

Parrot: One of these big inflatable birds will look great perched over your flying field.

This award winner was designed by Otte Harm-Dierk of Germany and is licensed exclusively to GKPI. They stand about ten feet tall and fill through inflation vents in the chest.

Like all inflatables, the Parrot works better with a lifter.

We’ll make you Parrot(s) in your choice of colors – including the body and wing-tip / tail accents. They are priced at $450 including bag and drogue.

Smiles all-around guaranteed!

Parrot

PL Fish: One of the largest profiles of any "medium" sized Lynn kite! One of the lowest prices too! Just $1000 for the big 30 foot model.

The larger ize is 30 feet long and 10 feet wide with gleaming teeth, huge eyes, and long flowing fins. You can choose special colors or let us produce the popular 'warm', 'cool', or 'rainbow' versions for you.

We also have the smaller 20 foot model for just $650.

These look great in solid colors like red, yellow and purple with black edging.

Red Devil

Red Devil:

This is a great flying kite, designed by Pedro and Esteban Gonzalez of Spain.

He's completely soft, fully inflatable and performs with or without a lifter. The face is ten feet wide and with the three tails, the overall length stretches to 30 feet.

Pick up one of these spectacular kites for $1250. The standard color is red, but we'll make one any way you like.

Opera Mask

Chinese Opera Mask:

This intese flying creation measures ten feet wide and thirty feet long with the connected tube tails. It is patterned after the classic performance masks of the Beijing Opera.

This is a great flying kite, designed by Pedro and Esteban Gonzalez of Spain. He's completely soft, fully inflatable and performs with or without a lifter. Mesh openings and zippered vents help with inflation and deflation. (Click on the image to see the entire kite.)

Sharky: Ludovico Bertozzi of Italy came up with this whimsical flying fish with the sad eyes and big toothy grin. He inflates through a small meshed vent in the nose and once filled, will hold shape effectively even in lighter winds.

Sharky is big too – about 18 feet long. He is priced to fly at $350.

Choose red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or purple body with either gray or white underside.

Sharky

Packy

Elephant Foil:

Don't let the photo deceive you on scale. This fun foil is 13 feet wide and 25 feet long! He's as big as the real ones! Trust me. I know.

Designed by Pedro and Esteban Gonzalez of Spain, "Packy" is a stable, completely soft kite, fully inflatable and performs with or without a lifter. You could even use it as a lifter. Choose your colors and we'll make one up for you. The price?? $525. And let me say it again -- 13 feet wide. This is a good sized kite!

Peter Lynn Caterpillar – in a variety of sizes.

The Caterpillar is a great ground bouncer! First of all, it is big – really big! The giant size from New Zealand is larger than a school bus. The ones made by GKPI are ten feet tall and fifty feel long. (Shown here.) That’s nearly the impact of a giant Octopus while still at the mid-sized price levels.

Caterpillar

Second, the Caterpillar is designed to be children/abuse tolerant. There is nothing to grab hold of! We even let kids inside to look around!

And finally, it is good looking. We can make any color combination you like in any one of three different sizes.

  • Medium Caterpillar 50 x 10 feet $1400
  • Small Caterpillar 30 x 6.5 feet $800
  • Micro Caterpillar 15 x 3 feet $400

Check out the Giants from New Zealand on our Peter Lynn pages.

Mini Star

Happy Star: Flying Stars are the creation of leading German designer Rolf Zimmerman.

These kites fly well and can be trained for a really spactacular show. We offer two sizes -- seven feet in diameter with a 20 foot long fuzzy tail, or 13 feet in diameter with matching tube tails. The smaller one is $250 and the big one, $450.

Inflatable Owl

Inflatable Owl: Rolf Zimmerman's Owl is delighting audiences across Europe. And we're delighted to be able it offer it now in the States under an exclusize license.

This new kite measures 11.5 feet tall and about 11 feet from wing-tip to wing-tip. He is completely soft with no sticks. The wings 'flap' in flight and the body undulates.

Original Zimmerman's are selling for about $700, but we have been authorized to present the GKPI edition for $500. You can have one in your choice of red, yellow, blue or purple.

Most inflatables fly better with a lifter. That means you use another kite to provide a boost.

For smaller and mid-size inflatables, don't tie the lifter line directly to the primary kite. Wind gusts or larger lifters may cause damage. Instead, anchor the lifter on one line, and the inflatable on a second line from the same anchor point. Then attach the inflatable to the line of the lifter using the "lifter loop" with a snap or other slider and let it float up the lifter-line.

For more details on lifters, check our Frequently Asked Questions

Inflatable Airplane: Here's the ultimate fun kite. It is completely soft with no sticks or spars. It can be 'stunted' on two lines or staked out on display. Choose the maneuverable ten by ten foot "Fighter", or the awesome 20 foot "Bomber".

A single plane, looping and swirling in the sky is a treat. One or two make a fine static display. And a standard full squad, staked out on a tether anchor really stops traffic.

Inflatable Airplane

We've adapted the original designed by Rolf Sturm of Germany, and substantially reduced the price. You can now fly your own Fighter for just $350 or stake out a Bomber for $800. Both are available in one of our standard 'primary' colors or in a custom combination of your own design.

Blue Meanie
Blue Meanie!!

Not feeling blue?? Choose Red Devil or even a Purple People Eater! He's about the coolest thing you can fill with wind!

This delightful inflatable was designed several years ago by Robin Parent of Montreal. We convinced Robin to let us try a few refinements and make the design available to all of you. Click here to see all three colors.

The "Meanie" is a big piece -- about 15 feet from his horns to the tip of his tennies. But his bulk and design details allow him to dominate the field. Check out the fashionable sunglasses, the confident glint in his eye, that dazzling smile, and the too-cool-to-be-on-a-kite footware. This guy is a winner!

Eyes Shoes Mouth

The Meanie flies best with a Pilot. Just snap the lifter loop onto a Pilot line and let him slide up. He'll inflate in the air for you. Available in your choice of colors for $1100.

Mrs. Meanie

Check out Momma Meanie! This is no run-of-the-mill inflatable woman. She has expressive eyes, pouty lips, a tasteful little skirt, and a subtle come-hither style about her. And yes, she also has those too-cool-to-be-on-a-kite shoes. Click here for a close-up.

The Devil series has become one of the most popular kites at festivals around the world. Order a him-and-her pair, we'll take off 20%

Flying Turtle
Turtle: A powerful and visual kite that requires and rewards competent flying. Eight feet wide and sixteen feet long. A lifter loop at the nose allows you to use a Pilot for stabilization and improved performance. Available in your choice of colors for $1400.

Made by GKPI under licence like all PL inflatables.

Mini Gecko

25 Foot Gecko:

The Lynn Gecko is one of our favorite kites. And now that all the smaller Lynn designs have been licensed for GKPI production, prices have come way down! You pay just $450! And you get to choose the colors too!!

Watching this 25 foot Peter Lynn lizard "climb" into the wind will amaze everyone. The tail and legs create a realistic motion in any breeze. Yes, it will fly alone, but we strongly recommend a lifter for added stability and flight angle.

The Gecko is a delightful 'must-have' kite. We'll be stocking standard colors and can also make one to your personal specifications.

Scuba Diver

Scuba Diver

It's the flying scuba diver -- complete with wetsuit, flippers and tank--pursued by a shark drogue that also doubles as a bag.

It's really amazing that he flies at all! Fourteen feet long and full of fun! Priced at $350.

Divers are made in England by Martin Lester and a bit hard to get. We try to keep them in stock but will be happy to put you on our list if we don't have one right now.

Spirit

Spirit Flier

Here is an amazing kite for general flying or special events like memorial flies or night shows.

Made by Martin Lester of England, the Spirit dances in the breeze with long, 20 foot extremities trailing behind. He (or she) definitely makes an impression.

Priced at $350. each Spirit is imported from England. They are a bit hard to get. But we have several in stock.

Just in from Hank Manseau: Spirit is probably the best-flying inflatable I have ever had the pleasure of flying. I typically fly it on 80# line and it is an incredibly graceful and efficient kite with a very good lift to drag ratio. I suspect the Brits refer to this type of image as a spirit whereas we Americans call it a ghost. I find that it flies extremely well from 7-8 mph to 20 mph. Beyond that range it becomes unstable. The bottom line is... this is a GREAT kite!

Mini Octopus

Octopus: Take your Octopus for a fly! Inflatable Octopi are Peter Lynn's long-term best selling single-line kites.

We start with a base color and then add contrasting accents for the trim, suckers, and eyes. The suckers on the long tentacles are extended for more drag and increased stability.

We also provide a detachable drogue.

They are remarkably stable in five to twenty m.p.h. of wind and remain manageable and easy to fly. The Octopus measures 20 feet in length and always generate smiles. Choose your color for just $400. We also over a 12 foot mini or "Fun Size" Octo for just $70. Click here for more details. Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn

Mini Kitty

10 Foot Kitty Cat: Technically, our Peter Lynn Kitty isn't a kite. She needs a lifter to fly well. But that doesn't mean that this ten foot inflatable won't be great fun to have around.

The standard design is black and white and costs $400. We can also offer custom pieces but only if we stay with the basic pattern and substitute in different colors. We don't recommend the pink or neon-green. After all, who could imagine a ten-foot tall pink cat...
Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn

20 Foot Trilobite: People ask what it is. Tell them it is a dragon, or a big bug -- or tell them the truth -- a prehistoric crab that has been brought back to fill the sky!

The "Bite" is easy to launch and a pleasure to fly. It features a black head and five other colors. The "warm" version goes from red to orange and yellow, while the "cool" version starts with purples and works through the blues and greens. It comes complete with a single matching bucket tail.

Mini Trilobite

The original Peter Lynn Trilobite mini had only two colors and a set of drogues, so the full six-band design and tail are a big improvement. They are more than twenty feet long and five feet wide. And here is the other part of the great news. The original Trilobite mini sold for $700. These are just $450. Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn

Penguin
6 Foot Penguin: He is cool! I mean *really* cool!

Our flying Penguin floats in the air with his big yellow feet waddling below. It is a solid flying design but refinements in the construction process allow us to offer this big bird at prices lower than comparably sized inflatables.

Some people think he looks like a Duck. Fine! If you want a "Yellow Pengiun" with an orange bill, let us know! You can either for just $70. Click here to check out our exclusive Duck kite.

Mini Bear

12 Foot Teddy Bear: Here is another favorite from the incredible Peter Lynn. The flying Teddy bear is a big 12 feet tall and is a remarkably steady flier. Put him (or her) up in seven to twenty miles of wind and watch him float.

Each bear comes complete complete with a "honey pot" drogue and sells for $300. Available in all primary colors or in our exclusive Panda Bear design.
Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn

20 Foot Ray: The Mini Peter Lynn Manta is another huge crowd pleaser.

It features a four contrasting colors and large eyes that peer over and down at you when you fly. The Ray comes complete with a single matching bucket tail that generates an overall length of 20 feet. The body is 8 feet wide.

Originally priced at $550, the GKPI Mini Ray is available now for just $400. Licensed & Protected Design by P. Lynn

Mini Ray

PL Flag Kites:This amazing Petr Lynn "pillow-foil" design revolutionizes the whole ram-air idea since it has no cells, no keels, and minimal bridles. Bottom line -- They fly great!

A complete USA flag is appliquéd on both sides in lightweight ripstop. The size is 5 by 10 feet and a 6 foot spinning drogue is included - all for $300. It is a unique kite and a great addition to flying science.

Flag Foil

UFO Flying Saucer:

A high-flying, Sci-Fi delight! UFOs are configured to fly on a split bridle. They have a lifter loop on top of the dome, and a supporting line attached to the air-intake vent. But we found that in steady wind, they flew just fine off the two anchors with no Pilot at all!

UFO UFO UFO

We make a five foot and a ten foot model, and plan a twenty-footer next. The smaller Saucer is just $50 with the larger one at $150. Choose your favorite "space" colors for major impact.

Face Foils!

The first time we saw these kites, they absolutely knocked us over. They were arguably the best looking kites on the field, and without question, the most charismatic.

It takes a special kind of ego to be an adult kite flier. So the obvious question is, “How do I get a kite like that with my own picture??”. And now we have the answer.

“Face Foils” are designed and produced by Pedro and Estaban González of Valencia Spain. “The Brothers” will digitally print your image on white ripstop, frame the image in black, and create a three-dimensional flying portrait. Each kite is roughly five feet tall, fully bridled and ready to fly.

You also get a cool, customized carrying sack.

Surprise your spouse on their birthday! Advertise your availability. Or launch a family train – including the dog! Face Foils will definitely get attention.

Each kite costs $250. All we need are a couple of good face photos and we're good to go!
